Innovation Description
Mr. Santrambhai Kalidasbhai has developed the herbal practice for storage of grains.
Ingredients: Worm killer (Aristolochia bracteolata Lam.), and wind killer (Clerodendrum phlomidis L.f.)
Methodology: For this, he prepares extract of worm killer and wind killer. He then applies the extract (250 ml extract is sprinkled /800 kg grain) through sprinkler on the empty container before placing the grains inside the container. The grains are protected from infestation for 6 to 12 months.
