Traditional Recipe of Bedu

Innovation Description

The traditional knowledge holder has suggested a traditional recipe of bedu. 
Ingredients: 1 kg fruits of Bedu (Ficus palmata Forssk.), 1 bulb of Pyaj (Allium cepa L.), 1 fruit of Tamatar (Solanum lycopersicum L.), 2 tablespoons Cooking oil, half teaspoon each of, Salt, Haldi powder (Turmeric powder), Mirch powder (Chili powder), Dhaniya powder (Coriander powder).
Preparation: Collect and thoroughly wash all the ingredients. Finely chop all the plant ingredients. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the chopped bedu fruits and keep it aside. Heat oil in another pan and saute the chopped bulb, tamatar fruit and add all other powdered spices. Add cooked bedu fruits and cook for another 10-15 minutes on a low flame with the lid on.
Dosage/Application: Consume it with the meal.
